Grocery shopping always bores Shannon. But she went shopping so she could have her canned peaches. When she arrived home, she hopped out of the car, went into the kitchen, got her $100,000,00.99 can opener out and opened her peaches. But, as she lifted the lid, she realised that it wasn't peaches in the can. It was WOOORMS!! She screamed, and ran out of the house. She grabbed her chicken and brought him inside to eat the WOORMS. The chicken slurped them up happily. She then put him back in the pen, and complained to the supermarket.
Wow Asher. What a creative story. What was the inspiration? I would be pretty grumpy if I found worms in my can of peaches. Mmmm peaches! Did you know that there is a song about Peaches? It was around when I was a teenager.
ReplyDeleteAsher, I enjoyed your imaginative scene, especially all the little details like the price of the can opener, that Shannon finds shopping boring - these made it a very real-life story. Great use of 'sense' words too. Well done.
